Our services: Getting started with the Library: Making a Request

If we don't have an item that you need/would like, you can:

• ask us to buy a copy (or more copies) for you to borrow from us through More Books 
• request to borrow it from another library through our Inter-Library Loans (ILL) service.

If you're not currently living in a DH postcode (but you are in the UK) or you're studying online as part of a distance learning programme, you can ask us to:

• scan chapters or articles to send to you through our Scan and Deliver service 
• post an item to a UK address through our Postal Loans service.

You can also make suggestions for titles to be bought through our Liberate My Library initiative to help us to make our collections even more diverse and representative of our community.
