Non-bookable spaces are available at all our study space sites - simply find an available seat and stay for as little or as long as you wish!

We offer a range of bookable study spaces in Bill Bryson Library, giving you the option to plan ahead or guarantee a study space for a certain amount of time.
You can book a space depending on the study zone you prefer, either as a desk space or with access to a PC or docking station. Specific bookable spaces are available to Postgraduate Research students.
You can book an individual or group study room at Bill Bryson Library through our online Space Booking system. Please be aware that our study rooms are not soundproof and should only be used if you have pre-booked the space.
We all have different preferences when it comes to our study environment, so we offer three different types of study zones in Bill Bryson Library - collaborative study, quiet individual study and silent study. We offer bookable and non-bookable options so you can use the area that best suits your needs.
In all our study zones, please remember to be considerate of others and maintain the noise level of the area you're working in.
