The Teaching and Learning Centre (also known as the TLC) is a short distance from Bill Bryson Library and provides space for individual and group study.
Our study spaces are located on the 2nd floor. There's a mixture of 400 individual, group and informal study spaces, including study desks, low seating, high bar tables and media tables. This light and modern space is ideal for both collaborative and quiet, individual study.
There's no booking required - simply visit the building during our opening times. You will need your campus card to access the building during evening opening times and weekends.
Group Work Rooms in other parts of the building can be booked via your Durham Office365 calendar - see the CIS Booking a Group Work Room guide for more information.
For directions and details of facilities available within the Teaching and Learning Centre, visit our Libraries and Site Information guide.
