University members and visitors are strongly recommended to wear face coverings in University buildings and when in crowded and enclosed spaces, especially where you come into contact with people you do not usually meet.
During your visit, please follow the safety measures we have in place and be considerate of other users.
If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have received a positive test result, you should self-isolate, book a Covid-19 test and inform the University - you must not visit the Library or our study spaces. Please visit our webpages for full details.
Provided by your Student Union, Dunelm House has a number of study spaces available for Durham University students throughout the building:
Kingsgate on Level B is currently being used as study space, and you are able to take food into this area.
Please follow all safety measures we have in place and be considerate of others.
We are unable to guarantee access to power points - if you intend to work on a laptop, please make sure it is fully charged before you visit. Dunelm House is on the University Wi-Fi network so you should be able to sign in as usual.
Please note, this is a self-service area – should you have any queries during your visit, please speak to a member of Student Union staff. If you have a library-specific query, you can contact our Virtual Enquiry Desk.
