The Business School is located across two sites - Waterside and Mill Hill Lane – with study spaces at both sites for Business School students only.
There are a variety of study spaces located within the Business School’s Waterside Building, including touch-down study spaces, a quiet study room and a terrace area.
There is also a study hub located in the Business School building on Mill Hill Lane, with a reference collection of core texts available.
These spaces are unstaffed - for any library queries during your visit, you can contact us through our live chat service.

The new Riverfront Bistro is located in the Waterside Building, serving a range of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks. There's also a Starbucks cafe available in the reception area. Visit the Cafe and Restaurant Outlet site for details of opening times.
Food and drinks are not permitted in the Business School Study Hub.

The new Waterside Building is located on Freeman's Place, opposite Durham Sixth Form College and the leisure centre, with the Raddison Hotel on the other side of the river. The PennyFerry footbridge provides access across the river.

There is no visitor car parking available. There is a public car park a short distance from the building (charges apply).
