Our Services: Requesting a Purchase: Delivery times

Requests are done on a first come first served basis. Where items are needed by a certain time, please indicate this on the resource request form. We ask that you give us at least 7 working days to process a request. At busy times of the year (Sept - Nov), it may take us longer to process requests.

Once a request has been ordered, the time taken for delivery does vary. This is why the more information you give at the time of request is important as it helps us decide on which is the best route to take for purchase.

• English Language print resources on average take 23 days but may take longer to arrive, depending on availability.
• Foreign Language print resources on average take 65 days to arrive but may take longer to arrive, depending on availability.
• EBooks are on average available within 7 days, however not everything is available for the Library to buy as an eBook due to licensing restrictions.

We use contracted library book sellers to purchase both print and eBooks.
