Winter Vacation Offer: Wellbeing

Here at University Library and Collections, we know just how important it is to help support your wellbeing.

We've created our Wellbeing guide, giving you access to resources and information to support you wherever you are, including:

  • Film and television eResources - you can access three on-demand film and television services through your Library and Collections: BFI Player, Box of Broadcasts and Kanopy - all for free!
  • Books and resources - you can now access our latest digital leisure reading and wellbeing collections for free through Libby, including a selection of fiction, non-fiction and wellbeing eBooks, audiobooks and magazines.
  • Podcasts and playlists - for study, entertainment or mindfulness
  • Mental wellbeing resources you may find beneficial

If you need advice or to talk to someone during the vacation period, details of the services and support available can be found on the Counselling and Mental Health Service webpages. You can also visit the Student Support Hub for support and out of hours service details.

The Student Support and Wellbeing Office have collated information for students who will be staying in Durham over the Christmas vacation - visit their Winter Break webpage for more information.

The University has created a Cost of Living Hub where you will find advice, support and guidance on everything from managing your money to how to seek additional support if you need it.
