During Easter term, we’ll have a range of activities and information displays available around self-care, wellbeing and signposting, along with details of resources available through the Library and University support services.

When you visit the Billy B or Teaching and Learning Centre, why not take a compliment from our display as a little reminder of just how awesome you are! You can either keep it for yourself or pass it on to someone else to help brighten up their day!

The Student Wellbeing Office will be hosting a Stress Awareness stand in Bill Bryson Library between 10.30am - 4pm, providing information on support they have available and freebies to support relaxation.
Join us on the grassed area outside Bill Bryson Library between 11.30am - 2pm to meet and greet some of our canine visitors and their handlers from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People! Take a break from your studies, pop along and say hello! (Cuddles are also welcome 😊)
No booking is required but a queueing system may be in place during busy times.
Between Thursday 2 and Friday 24 May, we’ll be hiding lucky tickets in various places around the Billy B - find one and you’re a winner! Simply bring it to the Help and Information Desk to collect your prize.
There are a variety of prizes up for grabs, including Amazon vouchers, wellbeing-themed goodies, hot drink vouchers and more!
Keep a look out for a ticket when you visit us – it might just be your lucky day!
Support your wellbeing by eating well and grab a free piece of fruit when you visit us! (Kindly provided by our wonderful colleagues at Small Island Coffee 😊)
Fruit will be available from 9.30am onwards at our stand in Bill Bryson Library, opposite the Help and Information Desk. We will only have a limited amount available - once it's gone, it's gone!
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the Student Wellbeing Office will be hosting a stand in Bill Bryson Library between 10.30am-4pm.
The stand will offer information on University support that is available, as well as freebies for you to take away.
To celebrate World Bee Day on Monday 20 May, we’ll be handing out seed papers in the Billy B, filled with British wildflowers for you to plant and help our bees and support the wider eco-system. (Billy might also be making an appearance 😊)
We’ll also have colouring stations available in The Snug and in the Collaborative Area on Level 1 for you to take a break from your studies.
