As you come into the building through the main entrance doors, you’ll see the entry gates in front of you and the IT Service Desk to your left.
The IT Service Desk is managed by CIS staff and is here to help you get the most out of IT services.
You can book an appointment to visit the service desk if you need to see someone face-to-face, or use their online IT self-service portal or live chat service to make requests, report a problem or get help and advice.
Bill Bryson Library is open 24/7 at busier periods during term time, giving you access to the building and study spaces whenever you need it.
At other times, including during vacation periods, the Library is usually open Monday-Friday 8am-10pm, and Saturday-Sunday 9am-10pm.
Remember to check our guide and social media accounts for any updates and for bank holiday opening times.
Each time you visit the Library, you will need to scan your Campus Card on the entry gates to access the building.
If you've forgotten your Campus Card or you’re an external visitor, you can ask for help at Reception (on the right-hand side of the gates).
You’ll also need your Campus Card to borrow books and laptops and to use the printers, so remember to bring it with you whenever you visit us.
Scan your Campus Card on the entry gates and walk through into the Library, then head to the pillar to your right.
