Study Skills: Getting help

Preparation and organisation for studying and revising

Resources

The Develop Your Skills webpages help you to get the most out of our resources and develop the skills you need to research your assignments and dissertation effectively. As part of this, we have a suite of tutorials that can guide you through a range of topics, from getting started with searching for resources, to referencing and plagiarism

Our Subject Guides highlight the resources and support available for your subject

Look at past exam papers to get an idea of questions from previous years - this will allow you to prepare more effectively.

If you can’t find what you need or want to suggest something new, make a Resource Request. You can help us build and shape our collections.

People

Faculty Librarians are there to support you. They can help you with all aspects of information retrieval and research skills. Book a 1-2-1 with your Faculty Librarian to help you get the best from the Library’s resources. They can help you to spend less time searching, leaving you more time to read and learn from it.
