  • Mondays to Fridays - 10am to 4:45pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays - Closed

Study Spaces will be closed during the Christmas Vacation, 13 December to 11 January.

Search Room services (until 12 December and from 12 January)

  • Mondays to Thursdays - 10am to 4:30pm (subject to availability)
  • Fridays to Sundays - Closed

Research access to the Archives and Special Collections is by appointment only, please use our enquiry form to request an appointment.

The Search Room will be closed during the Christmas Vacation, 13 December to 11 January.

Additional closures of the Barker Research Library

Access to the Archives and Special Collections will be unavailable on the following dates due to teaching or other commitments.  On the days where study spaces are indicated as remaining open, there may be additional noise or disruption due to collections based teaching.

  • Tuesday 4 February 2025 A.M. (search room open 1:30-4:30pm, study spaces open 10am-5pm)
  • Thursday 13 February 2025 (search room closed, study spaces open 10am-5pm)
  • Monday 17 February 2025 A.M. (search room open 1:30-4:30pm, study spaces open 10am-5pm)
  • Wednesday 19 February 2025 A.M. (search room open 1:30-4:30pm, study spaces open 10am-5pm)
