Study spaces will not be available on days when Palace Green Library is closed. Both planned and short notice closures are detailed on the home page of this guide.

In addition to the planned weeks when we are closed, short notice closures of the building may be required, depending on project progress or weather conditions. If any classes are impacted, we will contact the Lecturer concerned to work out whether an alternative date can be arranged. However, this may not be possible, as we will have no dedicated teaching space during the roofing works. Any requests for rescheduling will depend on the constraints of our search room service as well as timetabling and staff availability.
We will not be able to accommodate additional requests for collections based teaching sessions using the Archives and Special Collections during the Epiphany term, if these have not already been booked in with us.
